busy weekend

Took the boat out for a bit of a spin. Two main points to note: hot chips don't make good burly and 3 girls wont sit quietly and fish!

Been busy with some more designs too - some metal frames on request :) Also I have a few extra helpers on the Willro&co Creative team - some wonderfully creative Christian ladies Sal, Gayle and Alli who are joining Terrie and Dawn. I am really glad that these ladies considered creating for me...and blessed in many ways by all the ladies on my team :)

I have a few more shops that I will be selling my designs at shortly...so I will let you know when that happens :)

and a LO from last weekend when we ended up at Pt Perp lighthouse for a look...

Easter Monday

Bill & I discovered a plot this morning to murder us in our beds.

Apparently if you put a frog in cold water and slowly turn the heat up - it wont jump out, but instead stay there until the heat kills it. The same thing can be done with a water bed. If one's children turn the bed up to slow boil, the parents may not see the morning. Fortunately we discovered this plot before we expired and lived to tell the tale. Certain children, however, have been removed from the will.

We had a dawn service looking over Jervis Bay yesterday. It was a wonderful reminder that indeed our Lord is Risen!

And we had the pleasure of meeting with a friend from Cobar for lunch overlooking Werri Beach at Geringong. (And the obligatory play session on the equipment there)

inner beauty

A lovely young lady (not the one in the picture) reminded me today that
we should not view beauty as the world does, but instead look for true
beauty. I pray that my girls will be truly beautiful.

(and thanks for all those who supported me in my 3 pipe V8 LOL)
read the last post if that doesn't make any sense!

Boy stuff

Now I don't tend to create boyish type things....but here goes :)

It took a little more effort that one might have thought - now that there was a significant other able to give constructive (?) criticism regarding various design features. V8 could not simply be by itself - no, it was necessary that pipes would somehow attach to that. Now that is all well and good...until the feedback is given after the product is complete. V8 only had 3 pipes. Apparently this is not correct.

Hot debate ensued as to whether the average female digi scrapper would notice...much less care...whether the V8 badge had the full compliment of pipes. The counter argument was that no self respecting bloke would WANT to be on a page with 3 pipes and not 4....if in fact he owned a V8. (And if his car looked like that one - baby could drive it any time...he didnt want it)

*sigh*.......V8 now has 4 pipes. The car remains unchanged.
All is good in revhead land.
I wont tell you the rest of his suggestions.............

nothing digital here (except the pics!)...

In an attempt to satisfy the 2 critics regarding my lack of family content on the blog these days in favour of all things digital...here are some pictures from our weekend :)

Tara and Bill also went to Kangaroo Valley on the motorbike with a friend and his daughter for milkshakes. I feel that it is best not to encourage them - daddies or daughters. What are the daddies going to say when the daughters come home with boyfriends that have bikes? My first instinct would be to say "No way in creation baby", however I fear the fatherly response may be more like "Well what sort of bike does he ride?"

OK - I couldn't help myself. Check out the SOF blog were there might just be a digital freebie to be had :)

RAK time

We have had a bit of fun at SOF making a LO for someone else. It is really hard to make a LO for someone else. Will they like your style?

Mine was for Cheryl, of her DD. All Willro&co designs (except for the boats and starfish that Mum drew!)

Cheryl did one for me too of TJ. According to Tara it is "Mad"...which is apparently a very good thing! Check it out on her blog :)
